2026 Season
SPA Girls Lacrosse continues its co-op partnership with St. Agnes, Nova Classical Academy, and St. Croix Lutheran as the program builds momentum heading into the 2026 season. Last spring, the team earned the No. 9 seed in Section 3A and battled to a thrilling 16-15 overtime game against No. 8 seed St. Paul/Two Rivers Ducks in the opening round.
The Spartans return strong leadership, including captains Dia Chaney ‘26 and Audrey Peltier ‘27. Chaney is a returning 2025 captain and All-Conference honoree.

In 2022, SPA launched its inaugural girls’ lacrosse season as a co-op team with St. Agnes. The program was thrilled to welcome student-athletes from Nova Classical Academy in the 2024 and from St. Croix Lutheran in 2025! Participation flourished in 2024 with 34 players, including; 12 first-time players, 10 in their second season, 8 completing their third season, and just 4 with 4+ years of experience. Despite these numbers, the JV/V team picked up 4 wins and two ties. Additional stats demonstrated growth from the 2023 season. The Spartans scored 27 more goals and allowed 32 fewer goals against. Most importantly, the Varsity team earned All-State Academic Gold recognition with the highest team GPA in the section, finishing with a cumulative team GPA of 3.899.

The SPA girls lacrosse program’s mission is to build a positive and family-oriented community that strives to develop players physically, mentally, and in character, while maintaining academic excellence. With just two seasons as a program, the girls have dedicated time to mastering skills individually, and improving collectively as a team each game.

In their innagural year, the girls lacrosse team finished with an 5-8 overall record. The program saw huge improvements with three of those five wins coming in the final week of the season! SPA received the #9 seed in Section 3A and defeated the #8 seed, the St. Paul Bobcats.
