Nordic Ski Shines at IMAC Conference Championships
The SPA Nordic ski teams delivered a championship performance at the IMAC Conference Championships on Wednesday, January 28, at Theo Wirth Park Reserve, highlighted by a historic team result and multiple conference titles.
The Girls Nordic Team claimed the IMAC Conference Championship for the third straight year, continuing their dominance in the conference. The Spartans posted SPA’s first-ever perfect team score at the conference meet, placing 1-4 in the pursuit and winning the relay. Elisabeth Hilton ’27 passed an MPA skier down the stretch to clinch the perfect team score for the Spartans.
Eleanor Mody ’27 placed first and was named the 2026 girls IMAC champion for the second year in a row, leading the field in the pursuit race. In the skate relay, Maren Overgaard ’26 and Alyda Overgaard ’28 captured the conference title, sealing the team victory. Other scoring skiers in the classic race top 10 included Paloma Good ’27 in 2nd, Sophie Kannapiran ’28 in 3rd, Elisabeth Hilton in 6th, and Isla Kim ’29 in 7th.
On the boys side, Darien Hull ’28 and Sam Hilton ’27 earned IMAC Conference Champion honors in the skate relay, rounding out a strong day for the SPA Nordic program.
With championship performances across multiple events and grade levels, the Spartans closed the IMAC Championships with momentum as the postseason continues.
