St. Paul Academy and Summit School Athletics is excited to announce the appointment of Leslie Blakely as the new Lower School and Middle School Associate Athletic Director.

Blakely brings a wealth of experience in athletics administration, coaching, teaching, and youth development. She holds a Master’s degree in Sport Management from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. Throughout her career, she has served as both an Athletic Director and an Assistant Athletic Director, and has led successful volleyball programs as a varsity head coach and a club coach.

In addition to her administrative and coaching experience, Blakely has worked as a physical education instructor and has served as a Lower School clinician at SPA and other institutions. She is also an entrepreneur with a passion for leadership and athletics.

“Leslie came through the process as someone who is not only knowledgeable, experienced, and engaged in the SPA community already, but someone who was characterized by many who interviewed her as having the ability and caring to work with ‘the whole child’ at all levels,” said Paul Moyer, Director of Athletics.
